Producing the Mental Health Minute as UK and BBC radio come together
We were delighted to be the creative and production partner for a groundbreaking initiative led by The Radio Centre and The Radio Academy.
The Mental Health Minute saw all major commercial radio stations, and BBC national radio come together to broadcast the same one minute message about mental health at 10.59 on May 15th on over 300 stations, reaching an estimated 20 million audience. The broadcast ran during Mental Health Awareness Week.
The broadcast, supported by the Royal Foundation’s Heads Together campaign, included Dame Judi Dench, Lady Ga-Ga. Jess Ennis-Hill, David Harewood and Prince William and Harry addressing the stigma which still surrounds mental health.
We were responsible for the creative behind the broadcast and the audio and social media content itself.
