Kermode & Mayo's Home Entertainment Service starts 15 May
The double act behind the BBC’s most influential (and Somethin’ Else-produced) film podcast, Mark Kermode & Simon Mayo, will be hosting a new weekly Friday night guide on BBC Four, dedicated to the best (and worst) of streaming culture, across movies and premium television.
With cinemas closed and the nation in lockdown, Kermode & Mayo’s Home Entertainment Service sees the UK’s most-trusted screen-guides turn their attention from the big screen to the small screen for the first time. Broadcast from Mark and Simon’s respective homes, the new six-part TV show for BBC Four will help viewers navigate the wonderful, yet confusing, world of 21st century home entertainment, across free and paid services, providing tips on which box-sets to binge or classic movie to re-visit. Mark and Simon are here to help with their signature mix of recommendations, rants, bickering and community engagement which has made Kermode & Mayo’s much loved ‘church of wittertainment’ a global phenomenon.
Starts on BBC Four Friday 15 May.
