It’s really simple: Somethin’ Else wants to be the best company you’ve ever worked with, or for. If you think you can do what we do, only better, we want to hear from you. We are committed to being an equal opportunities employer and are a Living Wage employer.

Any current vacancies will be listed below, and we announce any jobs on Twitter at @somethinelse and on Linkedin – so you may want to follow us there.

Work Experience at Somethin’ Else

At Somethin’ Else we know that it can be hard to decide exactly what direction you want your career to take without knowing more about what’s involved in specific jobs.

As part of our work experience programme, you’ll spend 1 to 2 weeks gaining exposure across the whole company, helping to give you a real understanding of what’s involved in working across our business. Exactly what you do will depend on what projects we’re working on when you’re with us, but previously people on work experience placements have helped on some of our radio and TV shows, our BRITs award coverage and our weekly recording of the audio version of the Economist.

If you are interested in doing some work experience at Somethin’ Else, please upload your CV and covering letter via our application form – here

In your cover letter tell us a bit about what you want to get out of your experience with us and if there are any dates you are not available.

You need to be 18 or over. Travel and lunch expenses are reimbursed.
