Currently co-hosting the Xfm Breakfast Show with television's Alex Zane, and hosting the Xfm Punk show, X-Punk, Pete Donaldson is used to working with the very best industry talent. True, he's worked closely with the very best presenters in the business, Lauren Laverne, Shaun Keaveny, Danny Wallace, it seems only natural that some of their presenting flair would brush off on him - like pollen on a bee's back. Pete isn't fond of bees.
Hailing from the North East, Pete joined Xfm in 2006, after moving down to London after University, (taking his sandwich year working in a zoo) finding that Graphic Design really wasn't his calling. He started doing work experience on Lauren Laverne's Breakfast Show, and within a matter of weeks, he was the show's sidekick.
He's fronted a Wrigleys Airwaves campaign on television and the internet, provided voice-overs on co-promotions and podcasts for clients as varied as Nike and Intel. He's provided animations for the second series of BBC2's Look Around You, appeared on MTV's Most Shocking Moments of 2007 (we can confirm that he wasn't involved directly in any of those moments), and travelled the country interviewing countless bands such as The Pigeon Detectives, Nine Black Alps and The Enemy.
He also played a 'stupid student' in television soap opera for Schwartz/Richard and Judy, a role which he understandably found himself quite at home with.
He lives with a fairly decent dvd collection, in North London. They get on quite well, for the most part.
