Jeremy 'Jezza' Kyle has established himself as a staple of ITV's daytime schedule, and one of Britain's most talked about TV hosts.
His straight talking and hard-hitting style made 'The Jeremy Kyle Show' an instant hit. His sometimes controversial way of mediating every day conflicts between families and friends have given ITV1 their highest ratings yet for daytime television. Jeremy can heard every Sunday on talkSPORT, presenting the lunchtime sports show from 12pm-2pm.
In 2007, Jeremy picked up the radio headphones once more to host a weekly two- hour show across the 42 stations of The One Network (GCap). This Jeremy Kyle Show will show a completely different side to Jeremy and be a mix of music and celebrity guests.
He became an obvious choice for the role of talk show host after lending an ear to callers and their dilemmas when he hosted 'The Jeremy Kyle Show’ (formerly Capital Confessions) on London's Capital 95.8. The show saw him establish his unique style of resolution that he not only took to ITV, but also readers of 'Pick Me Up' magazine, where he is resident agony uncle. .
Jeremy's journey to become the nation's favourite agony uncle began in 1996, when he presented an evening show on Kent's Invicta FM. Less than a year later, he was hosting his own show on Birmingham's BRMB, where he spoke to callers facing dilemmas that ran the full spectrum of physical and emotional drama.
It was at BRMB he won a Sony Award for ‘Jezza's Jukebox’, which preceded another huge success, ‘Jezza`s Late & Live’ show. Two-and-a-half years and a nomination for CRCA's "Presenter of the Year" later, ‘Jezza`s Confessions’ was broadcast on the Century Network. And let us not forget ‘Jezza’s Virgin Confessions’ which premiered on Virgin Radio in 2002.
