We worked alongside MTV’s in-house team to produce weekend content creation and community management for the social media channels for MTV UK. This included Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, and Tumblr.

We recognise that social media conversation is round-the-clock and value the importance of an always on service. Our role was to deliver engaging social content that drived people to MTV.co.uk and pushed them to tune-in to MTV UK’s various television channels, working with MTV’s in-house team to ensure the brand was part of the social conversation throughout the week and stayed on top of trends to maintain relevance with youth audiences.

In addition, community management for several of MTV UK’s programmes, including their most successful show, Geordie Shore, was provided by Somethin’ Else. This involved posting live content during episodes on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Snapchat to drive conversation in parallel to the broadcast.
