The Local Radio Company

The Local Radio Company briefed us to redesign the websites of their 28 stations. The sites had to offer TLRC stations flexible methods of generating income – through advertising, partnerships with third party companies and directly with the consumer. They also needed to provide a means of strengthening the listener relationship with the brand, so user-generated content was integral to the functionality.

From our perspective, this project was a chance to massively expand the capabilities of our web design offering. Key innovations included creating a suite of websites based on a single template, and providing audiences with opportunities to add a variety of multimedia content to the site. This has a significant implications for future interactive projects, which will benefit from the technology we have developed here.
