This was a six part documentary focusing on the place of music in the struggle against Apartheid.

The show was presented by the legendary jazz trumpeter, Hugh Masekela, and I flew out to Johannesburg to meet him and some of the most influential and important figures in South African music.

This is the series I am most proud of producing. Johannesburg is an infectious city and I had the pleasure of discovering it through the experiences of people like Chico Twalle, Brenda Fassie, The Mahotella Queens, LadySmith Black Mambazo and many others.
