During the last two years the meteoric rise to world superstar status has seen Franz Ferdinand have cameras pointed at them from every possible angle.
So when the band headed off on their debut visit to South America - as support to U2 - they wanted to record the trip in a different, original way. They turned to legendary filmmaker Don Letts - whose Grammy award winning Clash Documentary "Westway To The World" has become a classic.
Filming saw Don jump on and off planes, buses and stages to capture this intimate and electric film, featuring appearances from Bono of U2 as well as the band themselves.
The documentary was screened on Channel 4 on Monday October 2, 2006.
