Disney Podcasts
The Disney promotion ran daily on Heart FM and witnessed Rik Mayall and Liza Tarbuck voicing classic Disney Stories such as Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Lady and the Tramp... you get the idea.Each story was split into 4 one minute parts and was broadcast one part at a time from Monday to Thursday with the whole story in full on Friday evenings.
Much fun was had in the studio, especially with Rik who is a complete comic genius. Even though the pieces are short they are intense productions to work on - many an hour was spent searching for bizarre sound effects and the talks booth at Somethin' Else was used in ways it has never been before - we fried bacon, recreated a waterfall and had a few fist fights... now thats the magic of Disney!
The podcasts were broadcast on-air Monday-Thursday at 6.50pm from October 2005 to May 2006.
