CIPD Podcasts

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) commissioned a series of 4 podcasts, to be made available to their 127,000 members across the UK via their website. Philippa Lamb (BBC Radio 4 Business Presenter) headed off to Harrogate for their annual conference to report from the ground. Meanwhile Rajan Datar (BBC WorldService Presenter and Somethin' Else team member) spearheaded the presenting in the studio.

The CIPD wanted each podcast to cover an issue central to Human Resources today to add value for CIPD members. To this end we built 4 podcasts crammed with valuable information, featuring interviews with the gurus and the voices of the experts in the industry. The themes were Leadership, Managing Change, Talent Management and a special podcast covering the conference itself and giving a flavour of the scale and range of the event.

Philippa Lamb attended the conference and interviewed a dizzying number of speakers, master-class hosts and delegates attending the event in Harrogate, and there has been a massive positive response from CIPD members.
