The BRIT Awards

Every year we are radio partners for the BRIT Awards. We started working with the BRITs back in 2002 and since then we've developed our work with them and increased our involvement with the biggest music awards ceremony of the year.

We broadcast the show live around the world and provide interviews with all artists and performers as well as a highlights show, build-up packages and nominations packages.

The ceremony is massively popular internationally, and for 2007's ceremony we have syndicated the audio rights out to over 20 countries worldwide. As well as broadcasting it around the world we also bring international stations backstage to broadcast from the event itself.

We work with the CRCA to produce the Best British Single features as the winner is voted for by listeners of commercial radio. In 2006 Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud presented the features and the year before it was Tom from McFly.

It's one of the biggest events in the Somethin' Else calendar, with a team built across all departments: radio producers, I.T. specialists, engineering crew, and the syndication department.
