BBC Africa Beyond

Having initially designed the BBC Africa Beyond website which launched last March, we are now making sure it is being populated with exciting news, features, reviews and photo galleries. This makes Africa Beyond the single largest public resource on African Arts and Music in the UK and we are determined to keep it that way by making it possible for people to send us their stories and pictures, by listing events across the country and through close work with our partners from the Institute of International Visual Arts, the Arts Council, the British Museum as well as the Southbank Centre. 

 

Through the last years Somethin' Else has developed a uniquely versatile content management system enabling the design of complex websites whilst increasing the independence and publishing pace of our editors. Africa Beyond is one of our latest example in the application of a cutting edge in-house development for a major public client.
