We have lived up to our reputation as the UK's leading radio producer and won a raft of commissions for BBC Radio 2, which are to be aired in the second half of the current financial year.
The Sony Award winning Charles Hazlewood show, recorded on the conductor's Somerset farm, will return for a fourth series of six shows in the new year. The network have also bought a Hazlewood Christmas special, recorded in his local church and featuring a choir of schoolchildren, together with some of the artists Charles has collaborated with over the past year. Also during the holidays, Norman Jay will present a Christmas special of funky tunes for the network.
Other commissions include a four part series on the award winning US record producer Rick Rubin, the founder of Def Jam records who has worked with everyone from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Justin Timberlake to Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash.
And just when you thought we might have enough to do, the network have also given the green light for some more one hour docs on the story of long running US TV music show Soul Train, and the tale behind Marvin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing', for transmission around Valentine's Day next year.
