27/09/07 - Legends: Ella Fitzgerald
Somethin' Else has been commissioned to make a documentary on the legendary Jazz singer for BBC 4. The 60 minute doc will go out in the landmark "Legends" series on Friday November 16th at 9pm. Ella would have been 90 this year and the programme celebrates a true original of the music through amazing archive and interviews with those who knew her and those who love her - including Amy Winehouse and Jamie Cullum.
The programme is being directed by Paul Bernays and Exec produced by Jez Nelson.
