10/04/07 - Bobby Friction up for a Sony Award
Somethin' Else talent Bobby Friction has received a 2007 Sony nomination for his specialist music show 'Friction'. The BBC Asian Network show calls on Bobby's vast knowledge of British Asian music, playing new and unsigned sounds from Brixton to Bombay.
Bobby's strong DJing background and recognised status on the Asian music scene has obviously made him a huge hit with listeners. Catch Bobby every weeknight (except Wednesdays) from 10pm on the BBC Asian Network.
