16/11/06 - Kojo wins "Best Male Comedian"
Somethin' Else talent Kojo won "Best Male Comedian" at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards 2006 last weekend.
It's another step up from his impressive result at the ceremony back in 2000, when he was nominated for the "Best Newcomer" award within just three months of his emergence on the comedy scene!
Since then Kojo has set about sealing his place as one of Britain's funniest men, and this is the second year running Kojo has won the award.
He has fast become one of the biggest talents to come out of the black comedy circuit, and CBBC recognised his talents early on in his career, signing him as a presenter to their Saturday morning show ‘The Mighty Truck’.
