Three years ago, Tom Isaacs shared his personal battle with Parkinson's disease with Radio 4 listeners. He spoke to some of the leading research scientists, including one who was developing a revolutionary treatment that seemed to reverse the effects of Parkinson's.

In the show Tom explores what happened to a controversial cure that appeared to offer hope to millions of Parkinson's sufferers.
