Buzz - the fully interactive Playstation quiz game part produced by Somethin' Else - has won an illustrious British Academy Video Games Award.
Buzz!: The BIG Quiz won the Casual and Social Award, at the inaugural awards ceremony on October 5. It beat tough competition from the likes of fellow nominees Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo and Sony's SingStar Rocks!
The awards were the feature event of the newly established London Games Festival. In association with Nokia N-Gage and PC World the ceremony rewarded artistic, creative and technical innovation within all aspects of the video games industry.
Sony produce Buzz family of games - including Buzz Music and Buzz Junior - for their Playstation 2 consoles and Somethin' Else deliver all scripting and sound production for the games.
Buzz has won a host of awards since it burst onto the scene last year, and has been dubbed a "smash hit" in the new breed of social gaming. The game has picked up awards across the world, including four gongs in Norway and one in Australia, and is also nominated for a Golden Joystick this year.
