We've finished production of BBC TV’s first ever comprehensive look at the dance revolution

Here at Somethin’ Else we’ve been dancing to a 4/4 beat for nearly three decades. The company was founded on a love for music and House, Techno, EDM and dance of all kinds have been a major part of the soundtrack to our story.
So it’s with great pride that we announce that we’ve just finished production of BBC TV’s first ever comprehensive look at the dance revolution. Can You Feel It – How Dance Music Conquered The World is a three-part series running on BBC Four at 10pm on three consecutive Friday nights from September 21st. Each episode takes an in-depth look at one of the three pillars of a scene that went from underground movement to global phenomenon over the last thirty plus years. So we tell the story of the origins and development of the music itself, how clubs became the most important cultural entertainment space of our era and the extraordinary rise of the DJ from awkward sideman to the world’s biggest music stars. Our cast list boasts a defining list of dance’s pioneers, innovators and biggest stars alongside a killer soundtrack.  As Marshall Jefferson says
“ You gotta have house music all night long”.
