Anita Sturnham

Anita is a gorgeous and confident expert in her field as a General Practitioner. She has appeared and presented on various TV shows including ‘Make Me Better’ on BBC 1 and has recently finished filming for Channel 4 on the second series of ‘The Joy of Teen Sex’, due to air Autumn 2011.

Anita currently works as a GP, combining NHS duties with Private Practice. She has lived and worked as a Doctor in Bristol for the past ten years and moved to London in 2011, where she now works as a GP in the City.

As a GP, Anita has a wide range of expertise including: Women’s Health, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Diabetes, Dermatology, Drug and Substance Misuse and Travel Health.

This specialist knowledge enables Anita to act in a medical advisory role, within many media settings.

Anita has also appeared in various news items for local BBC & ITV News, and featured on radio stations such as Kiss 100 and BBC Bristol. As well as her TV & Radio work, Anita is an articulate writer and has had articles published for Woman’s Own, Bliss, Closer and The Independent.

Anita has a caring and empathetic approach to her work and feels privileged to work in a role where she can make such a huge difference to people’s lives. She is keen to expand on her work in the media.
