Gilles Peterson plays lots of fresh, new tunes on his Radio 1 show this week including a Sound Species remix of United Vibrations, Boxcutter, some heavy Julio Bashmore, Brainfeeder goodness courtesy of Matthewdavid and another cut from We’re New Here – Jamie xx’s rework of Gil Scott Heron’s latest album.

Gilles also spoke to Andy Butler from New York project Hercules & Love Affair about the new album, Blue Songs, and what the musical scene in Denver was like when he was growing up.
