CJ Beatz (RnB), DJ Q (UKG), Crissy Criss (D&B), Young Lion (Dancehall) and

Charlie Sloth (Hip Hop) bring you specialist music every weekday night on

Radio 1Xtra between 1 – 4am, with the help of Somethin’ Else. But this

year there’s even more going on with the M1X Shows! Not only did the

presenters kick off 2011 in style by taking over daytime radio on the

network (to great critical acclaim) they were also given an extra

show on both Radio 1 & 1Xtra!

Every Saturday night from 7pm 1Xtra flips the switch and takes over Radio

1′s airwaves for 12 hours of fresh urban music. Each week a different M1X

show DJ hosts the 3-5am slot, broadcasting the biggest music & guests from

their specialist genre to an even wider audience. Somethin’ Else are also

proud to be producing DJ Edu who’ll be taking on the slot every 6th week

to bring you the hottest underground sounds out of Africa, from hip hop

and RnB to dancehall, garage and D&B!
