Last night on BBC Radio 1 Gilles Peterson was joined live in the studio by Philippe from the Gotan Project.

They spoke about what the Gotan Project are up to and discussed their views on the new global dance movement. Philippe also answered some listener questions from Facebook and we heard a few of the great Gotan remixes soon to be released.

Gilles dropped a great musical selection from a Joe remix of  Scuba to new Lone, from Magnetic Man to German trio Brandt Brauer Frick, an exclusive Shuggie Ottis track and, of course, a Gregory Issacs tune.
