Back from a trip to Canada and the US, Gilles Peterson carefully crafted together a wicked selection of tunes for this week’s BBC Radio 1 show.

Music included LA hip-hop from Trek Life, Canadian beats courtesy of Shad and some proper old school records he picked up on his travels.

In addition, Gilles played out a brilliant Maida Vale session from Andreya Triana.

There were also big new tunes from Letherette, Jules Chaz, King Midas Sound, Red Rack’em, Scuba and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and a re-spin of the Submotion Orchestra track that is getting a lot of hype right now.
