We’re really excited as our day of trialing new, interactive, weird, wonderful risk taking ideas is almost here. You can read more at the PlayRadio blog.

Play Radio is a day of radio broadcast from Somethin’ Else HQ on 7th July. On that date we’re going to expose ourselves (only creatively, you’ll be pleased to know) by broadcasting ideas that we’ll be trialing for the first time.  They’ll be rough, ready but hopefully fun, and they’ll help us to find out what works, what doesn’t and what we can take out to our friends in the wider world.

We’ll post a link soon where you’ll be able to tune in and / or take part, but to give you an idea some of the things we’ll be doing are:

1. A crowd sourced, interactive discussion/documentary/chat show
2. A user sourced political/news satire show
3. A listener driven music show
4. An interactive quiz show
5. A dating show
6. A treasure hunt
7. An interactive drama
8. A very different interactive drama

It should be different and unlike many things you’ve ever heard before.
