Play Explorers at RFH

“The explorer Vasco de Gama tantalised the King of Portugal with tales of untold riches and artefacts from across the sea.”

On Monday, Somethin’ Else’s own Pete Law is playtesting a game called ‘Explorers’ down at the Royal Festival Hall at a Sandpit organised by Hide & Seek. For those that don’t know, a Sandpit is time for game designers and game players to get together, try things out and have some fun. Here’s the premise …

“Search the Southbank Centre for potential treasure and intrigue the blindfolded royalty with your tales. Entice them to pay gold coins to remove their blindfolds and see the secret splendours.”

The Sandpit is on Monday 22nd Feb at the Spirit Level in the Royal Festival Hall. The theme for this Sandipit time is ‘Maps and Territories’. Sign-ups for individual games start at 1830, and play begins at 1900. It’s unticketed and free but it’s worth turning up on time to get a place on the games.

More details from Hide and Seek.
