The 6 Mix is BBC 6 Music’s electronic and experimental programming strand, celebrating all things which go ‘beep,’ and giving you a chance to hear musicians and DJs talking about the tunes which make them do what they do.

A killer line-up includes Andrew Weatherall, Derrick May, Erol Alkan and Orbital, who play the music they love on rotation throughout the year, interspersed with special programmes celebrating music from all different styles. Over the last year you may have heard Wall of Sound boss Mark Jones talking synth-pop with Gary Numan, or The Human League, Air and Phoenix celebrating all things French. We even had Yoko Ono sharing her musical passions.
